Today between 12 noon to 12:30 pm. the inevitable happened. What a shocker! Never in my life was I so rudely served! To say the least this Tim Horton franchise on St.Georges Blvd was short staffed regretfully. Only one lady on cash and waiting on people. Im sure it wasn’t her choice. She sure had a big work load all by herself. The one lane long line up was unreal. I didnt see any staff rushing or running to serve the public either.
Rank #5 of 8
My granddaughter thought to go inside to get herself a Size: Small strawberry Fruit drink. I gave her $10.00 and I waited in the car a long 15 min. for sure. I was ready to go inside and see what was happening but thankfully she came out. Shes only 10 years old and gave me the change of $5.20. I asked what did you order? She said a small fruit drink, but the woman gave me a bigger one! Apparently she was given a Medium size and not what she ordered at all!
So I decided to go back at the drive through only to be told the credit could not be handled there but advised me to go inside to get it done. So I drove over to the front of the store and parked and went inside. Now low and behold a great big line up again. So I waited at least another 15-20 minutes. I wasnt impressed. I held the drink in my hand only to get melted.
To my surprise I was welcomed very rudely by the so called woman manager. She said that my granddaughter should have told the waitress and exchanged it there and then. She went on to say nastily that by the way: next time my grandchild goes in there to tell the waitress the difference right away. How was the child to know? Shes only 10 years old. She sure wasnt a kind woman to say the least. You should review your camera by the cash register to see and hear the episode and how she served me! She also asked the waitress what the price of the drink was and doodled the math equation on paper to figure the difference out and gave me a mesely .90 cents back. Of all the nasty things she could do. She should have been more generous in this matter and apologize and mean it.
Well her customer service and ways of handling things is yet to be improved. Not very professional at all. She should consider more people skills and better customer care. May I suggest for her reading the book Dale Carnegy: How to win friends and influence people. Im very upset and disappointed about her way of handling the matter. Not very diplomatic. Her customer service is very poor. She needs a course in people skills in a dramatic way big time!
I used to really enjoy this Tim Hortons location and service. Im not sure about this now! She needs more training and a talking to. There are others who are also not impressed with her! Yours truly; Rejeanne C firstname.lastname@example.org
